Dear Parents,

In light of the latest measures taken by MOE and MOH, we want to let you know that we share your concerns and want to assure you that Write Edge places our students and staff’s health and safety as our utmost priority.

Travel Declaration Form

Dear parents, thank you all for your prompt replies to our NEW declaration form for March. If you have not filled up the travel declaration form, please help us to fill up by today, 19th March 2020.

Students who are affected by Stay Home Notice (SHN) from MOH

In line with MOH travel advisory, students who have returned from ANY countries on or after 20 March will need to stay home for 14 days before resuming classes.

Students who are affected by Leave of Absence (LOA) from MOE

On top of MOH’s measure, MOE has implemented an additional precautionary measure.

A 14-day LOA will be issued to students who have returned from ANY country on or after 14 March. Day zero of the 14 days will commence from the date of their return to Singapore.

Write Edge will ensure that students who have returned to Singapore on or after 14 March will NOT attend class, in accordance with the LOA issued by MOE.

Collection and Mailing of Worksheets

To minimise disruption to student’s learning, worksheets will be mailed to students who are on LOA and SHN. Picking up the worksheets physically is also possible if you are able to send representatives.

Should your child encounter any difficulties while attempting the worksheets, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Upon completion of the assignment, you may either email it back or WhatsApp us for the full marking. We seek your cooperation in this matter and thank you for being a socially responsible parent.

Write Edge is well-prepared to respond to any news of school closure

In the event of school closure, Write Edge will halt lessons as well. Do note that earlier today on 19th March, MOE has informed parents that schools will re-open for Term 2 on the 23rd March as planned with enhanced precautionary measures.

Lessons missed in the event of school closure will be replaced in September Holidays, Term 4 or via E-learning.

To facilitate the children’s learning, a hard-copy package of lessons will also be available for parents to pick up or mailing. Additionally, we will allow our students and parents to continue to have real-time access to our team of teachers so we any address questions related to their academic work.
